The Really Big Mandala first opened its doors in November 2007, and became Carlisles first truly authentic shop for alternative health and spirituality. It has now moved and transformed into Shambala Centre, and has an organic tea room and practice area.
We sell a wide range of books from a variety of Paths, including Taiji, Taoism, Yoga, Hinduism, Christianity, Yungdrung Bon, and Tibetan Buddhism. We also sell practice items such as yoga mats, blocks etc, and Trengwa (rosaries).
We offer a wide range of incense, including authentic Tibetan Incense as well as Indian and Native American herbal incense. We also sell essential oils for use in room fragrancers as well as for inclusion in therapeutic massage oils.
Our range of chemical free body care products includes shampoos, toothpastes, and shower gels as well as a range of Traditional Tibetan medicinal products from Men Tsee Khang - the Dalai Lamas Medicinal Institute.
